Ashley Jones

Ashley Aubra Jones is an American actor. Her most well-known roles include soap opera performances as Megan Dennison (The Young and the Restless) and Bridget Forrester (The Bold and the Beautiful). She also portrayed the recurring role as Daphne during the second season of HBO drama True Blood. Ashley Jones graduated in 1997 with a Bachelor of Human Learning K-8 from the University of Tennessee at Martin. She started her career as teacher in Maury County where she taught kindergarten and the first graders Reading. In 1998 she married Brent Jones, her UT Martin sweetheart Brent Jones and relocated to Thompsons Station. Bethesda Elementary was where she first taught the fourth grade. Between 1999 and 2000, she was a teacher while obtaining her Masters of Education at Trevecca Nazarene University. She quit the classroom in 2000 when the couple welcomed their baby son Baylor. Ashley has been spending the last fifteen years working on the growth of children of her congregation as well as in her community. She has also served in a variety of roles. Ashley is the leader of the Preschool Ministry at Thompson Station Church in various roles for more than 13 years. Ashley was a homeschooler for her three kids for three years when she was away at home. During their home schooling years they attended a family school tutorial in which Ashley also taught History in Kindergarten and 1st Grade. Ashley loved her homeschooling experience and being with her children God has clearly shown their family that it was time to go back to school full-time. Brent and Ashley have 5 children. Silas, Eliza and Cruz all go to GCA. Baylor is an GCA graduate and plays baseball with UT Martin. Callan is another GCA graduate, is enrolled at Western Kentucky University. The family is busy that loves fishing for fish and hunting, as well as supporting each other in their most loved sports and other activities.
