Maureen Denise McCormick was born on 5 August 1956, in Woodland Hills California the youngest and sole daughter of Richard and Irene McCormick. She was raised by an aunt who worked as an housewife, and her father who worked as a teacher. Michael Dennis Kevin is her the third of her siblings. McCormick started singing and performing in the early years of her life. When McCormick was six years older, she was crowned her first prize in the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley pageant.
